Buffalo Cauliflower Wings

My roommate got me an air fryer for my birthday so naturally, my newest favourite google search is "air fried (insert food item here)". Before I even took to google I already knew that these Buffalo Cauliflower wings would be the first thing I tried to make in the air fryer.

And.

Let me tell you.

They hit the spot.

Like your classic American buffalo wing, but vegetarian, they are a great vehicle for hot sauce.

Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and a perfect well rounded spiciness. Dip them in a homemade blue cheese dip for optimal tastiness.

Ingredients-

1 head of cauliflower chopped into "wing sized" pieces.

1/2 cup of flour

1/4 cup of water

1 tsp Garlic powder

1 tsp Salt

1 tsp Pepper

1 tsp Paprika

1/2 cup Frank's Red Hot (or an equivalent)

2 tbsp Sriracha

1 tbsp Tobasco

Instructions-

- Mix flour, water with garlic powder and paprika and salt, pepper. This should be be a paste like texture.

- Coat the cauliflower in this, and then bake or air fry until golden brown. About 20 minutes in the air frier, toss half way through so that the whole wing will be coated.

You want it to be golden brown and cooked through and dry on the outside.

- While the wings are cooking put together your hot sauce mixture, add a couple tablespoons of water and some salt and pepper to taste.

- Once the wings are cooked through toss them in the hot sauce and cook again for the same amount of time, flipping them half way through so that both sides are cooked.
